Made in The 80's With Love There's something so simple and low-maintenance about 80's music that I can't quite spot out, ..the kind of music that would appeal to our philipina maids -- I dunno if it's the nostalgia that takes me back to the many afternoons I spent hiding under the ironing table, playing dressing up my barbie dolls & playing house whilst the maid ironed clothes crisp listening to one cassette tape after the other.. while I occasionally peeked out to oddly stare at queer MC-Hammer-style dance moves, or watched Aida dye Rose's hair jet-black with a toothbrush. I still don't understand why a toothbrush.
So yeah, I don't know why 80's music appeals to me now. Perhaps I'm subconsciously yearning to hide away and get lost in a world where I create the fate of my Barbie, where there are never bad hair days, nor waking up on the wrong side of the bed.. Where her tall, dark, & handsome Ken is always emotionally attentive, & the two of them live a life of abundance in a home made of tissue boxes and books.
I Love 80's music!
I'm in the lookout for a digital video camera, mainly to keep track of my jumping training and get the opportunity to judge & criticize my own jumping style and/or mistakes. It was a fierce competition between panasonic and sony, ..I finally opted for the sony for one reason: It's smaller. Please tell me I made the right choice, when it comes to video cameras, I'm really far from being the expert in the field.
